- Would you believe this was AFTER I cleaned out the garage! (I will not put crap in my studio I will not put crap in my studio)
- Building supports in preparation for removal of broken foundation and rotted sills.
- Old foundation was caving in in large sections. Build was secured with supports and parts of the main Sill were cut out.
- Excavation begins to correct/replace potions of a caved in foundation wall. This required cutting a part of the stone patio away and inserting drainage materials.
- Goodies found in the ground during excavation!!
- The broken foundation was pushed in so that it could be jack-hammered to pieces and hauled away.
- Special desert of the day: Foundation Wall Crumble
- Butch (Hahlstrom Enterprises) measures corner in preparation for repairing/replacing a broken foundation on east side of barn toward the stone patio. This man can DIG!!
- Portion of foundation was cut away, exposing the exterior of barn, and broken/hauled away to make space for forms that will enable pouring new cement to create a new foundation!
- Forms built for a new wall.
- Forms placed, cement mixed and poured! Now it must cure for a couple of days…..
- Almost done!
